OneCloud, a provider of performance management and business intelligence integration, has signed an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Workiva, the leading cloud provider of connected reporting and compliance solutions. Workiva has also made a financial investment in OneCloud.
OneCloud is a cloud integration platform used in the office of the CFO by Fortune 500 to mid-market companies. OneCloud is an open and standards-based platform designed for software vendors such as Workiva to embed flexible, code-free and intuitive integration and automation of a wide range of complex technologies into their own applications.
With the OneCloud platform, Workiva will offer an embedded solution that integrates on-premise and cloud technologies that include general ledger, Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence applications. The new offering will create a beginning-to-end integrated and automated experience with the source systems that supply data to the Workiva platform. This new capability will enable Workiva customers to efficiently orchestrate activity across most of the technology solutions available for finance and accounting from within the Workiva platform.
“Providing an intuitive and code-free way to connect and automate the systems that support financial reporting is of paramount importance,” said Quin Eddy, Chief Executive Officer of OneCloud. “Workiva customers can now use all of OneCloud’s powerful features from within their platform for integration that is maintainable, repeatable and auditable.”
“Workiva customers have invested a tremendous amount of time, money and expertise into systems of record such as ERP, HCM and CRM, as well as in specialized applications for financial consolidation, reconciliation and planning,” said Will Gregg, Vice President of Solutions at Workiva. “Our partnership with OneCloud empowers our customers to seamlessly orchestrate data between those systems in a no-code way, resulting in accurate, timely and transparent data for connected reporting and compliance.”
This partnership opens up a range of new possibilities for systems integrators. “Having an enhanced set of finance-focused integration capabilities embedded in Workiva will allow us to spend more time building out Workiva’s powerful reporting features and less time devising alternative integration approaches. It’s a win-win for everyone,” said Nick Moore, Co-founder and Executive Director at Lionpoint Group.
Workiva’s new OneCloud integration capabilities will be generally available in late summer and will be showcased at the Workiva Amplify user conference September 9-12, 2019 in Dallas, Texas.
